Hotel is ok just not for us

Staff were friendly.

Door enters onto a balcony and slides doors to apartment could not be locked from the outside. Safety deposit box low battery upon arrival. Cot in room (we didn’t request) so had to be removed. Only two adults on booking! Stayed at this hotel in 2007 when it was called something else; swore we would Never stay there again but didn’t realise it was the same hotel. Just really dislike the style rooms etc. it’s fine, just not for us.

Great location for Kamala Beach/ Cafe Del Mar Beach Club & Family orientated resort

The staff especially the luggage concierge guys were super proactive and welcoming. They were working extremely hard for all guests arriving at the hotel and our luggage was quite a lot, so we really appreciated their assistance to the room. Of course we tipped them for their hard work and they were very grateful. Aircon in the rooms worked really well, space was clean, good size with sitting lounge area and separate bedroom. Water was provided for drinking and beach/pool towels at your disposal. There were food cafes, laundry ladies, small convenient shops for snacks and drinks and a couple of massage and beauty shops right out side the hotel which was great. I did not eat or drink at the hotel so I can't comment on that. Short walk to Kamala Beach and Cafe Del Mar which was lovely to spend the day down at the beach or the club.

We purely booked this accommodation to be close to Kamala beach for NYE. The prices reflected the holiday period and timing, so I completely expected to pay more. However, if it was another month in the year I would have been disappointed with the quality of the hotel for the amount of money ( I assume it's a lot cheaper in off peak ). I didn't have too high expectations so that was alright, however the rooms and hotel is a little run down and requires some maintenance attention. Pool was missing small tiles, our unit door was really hard to close and lock, the unit itself is a bit tired but the bathroom was good which is most important for me. Furniture is new and although bed was hard it was clean linen and they come make up your room every day. Not too much to complain about I just wouldn't want to be paying a lot and feeling let down as the hotel needs a bit of work ( Photos make it look a lot nicer ).

Good location near the beach

The entertainment for the kids was quite vast. The pool had one slide. The room was quite spacious and we had a chance to put the kid on a separate sofa. There were 2 Tvs in the room. Also they had a separate menu for tourists that prefer local cuisine, like Indian, Chinese and Russian.

We didn't have breakfast included but we had a look at the restaurant and the choice was mediocre so we decided not to have breakfast at the hotel. Small things in the room shown that the room a a bit tired and needed some small maintenance.

Very Old, Very Bad Location, Facilities So So, Restaurant is very bad not much variety.

Im already disappointed with our stay so I cant think of anything that I like. Been to Radisson in other countries but this one in Thailand is awful

Rooms we're old, Staff (not all) were rude and annoying. Lack of English speaking in most staff is very difficult. They always misunderstood what we say in all cases. Takes time before someone attend to your concern. Stay for 4 nights we requested the door lock to get fixed no one came back until we check out despite of us following it up on daily basis.

Over all the whole group that was 3 family's and 3 rooms was not happy with this hotel, would not stay again

Nice hotel garden

Some rooms had very bad smell, our room was OK but 2 other rooms of our friends smell very bad and the request another room. Breakfast nothing more then just OK, request for coffe and still time for it, 10-15 minutes before closing breakfast time and it was finished, staff told me to go to the bar and pay for machine coffe

There is no lift in the hotel and had a very difficult time as my 82 year old mother was with me. They could not allocate a new room due to high season.

Booked the hotel not knowing that the hotel is one of the few that doesn’t accept NFC payment. I lost my credit cards an

I particularly like the room balcony, large swimming pool and the living room TV. Staffs were accommodating.

I found blood stain/ brown stain on the curtain but other than that room appeared to be clean

I did not like the way a manager or some kind of controller from the Swisshotel administration loudly yelled at the garter for a trifling mistake. It was an unfinished experience and a shame for the swiss hotel. The supervisor spoke French-English.

Great family staycation kind of place

Definitely for a family with kids. Family room comes with kid beds. Room is spacious. Swimming pool is awesome with water slide. Kids room with great activities everyday (indoor playground, playstation console, colouring activities, etc). Great breakfast and helpful staffs. Kids under 7 get free flow of drinks, foods, snacks. Enjoyed the movie theater.

Its a walkup building. Family having small kid with stroller might want to opt for ground floor room. Nothing much at the hotel vicinity, need to walk about 5-10mins to beach.

The big pool and kids club .

Our family check in at 11 pm and the room we had on level 3, even though I’ll ask any available rooms on level 1 or 2 . We had a leaking tap, shower door doesn’t close properly, open only half way looks like hinge of shower door will fall off anytime . Room was not clean and fan doesn’t work. In the 10 mins my family was unpacking I call up room service ask for other room . The 2nd room was much better, cleaned and everything works and all of sudden in the 10 mins I’ve got a room in level 2, but before wasn’t available. Overall is ok hotel.

Everything is to like with this Swissotel accommodation, if...

Everything is to like with this Swissotel accommodation, if you are a couple or family I personally think it’s a great place. Every guests looks happy and all the children. I’m a parent and my children are young adults if you single you probably won’t notice the kids , it’s a happy environment with the most amazing staff .

Good spaces, clean and convenient

I like this hotel as I have been many times return to this property. This hotel has a very good spaces for family, very convenient to stay as a vacation trip. All staffs are very good in services mind and the breakfast enjoy my family a lot.

The Air conditioning has a little noisy in my room but not a big deal in comparison to the facilities and room size I have received from the hotel. Not anything I would say I did not like to this hotel.

Overall, it was a good experience and we enjoyed our stay.

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at the resort. We really enjoyed the morning breakfast and the variety of different foods and choices. The swimming pool was also very fun & we enjoyed having a go at the water slide as well. Over all it was good.

The location was a bit far away from the main Phuket district and the price of catching a taxi or tuk tuk wasn’t cheap either.

Staff, pool, kids activities, breakfast and overall value for money were GREAT. Not beach front but literally 2 mins from the beach. Bunch of shops/eateries close by.

Water didnt drain properly in the bathroom. And at night sometimes you could smell an open sewer. Little out of the way. Getting ANYwhere costs mininum 500 BHT from the hotel.
